These Air Fryer Salmon Burgers are made with fresh salmon, herbs and panko breadcrumbs, then topped with a lemon-dill Greek yogurt sauce. Done in just 20 minutes, they are a great way to switch up your burger nights!

The key to flavorful, juicy salmon burgers is fresh salmon. While canned salmon works in a pinch, fresh Atlantic or sockeye salmon gives these patties a better texture and cleaner flavor that really shines in the air fryer.
This recipe was inspired by my Lemon and Herb Salmon Burger recipe. If salmon is already in your weekly rotation, you can also use the same fillets to make Teriyaki Salmon Bowls for an easy rice-based dinner, or turn them into a quick sauce night with Cajun Butter Sauce for Seafood served over veggies or potatoes.

Sarah's Top Tips
- Use fresh salmon. Fresh, Atlantic or sockeye salmon gives the best texture and flavor. Canned or pre-cooked salmon won't produce the same juicy burgers.
- Prevent sticking. Lightly spray the air fryer basket before adding the patties to keep them from sticking.
- Don't overcrowd. Cook the salmon burgers in a single layer so they brown evenly. Work in batches if needed.

Serving Suggestions
Pair these salmon burgers with a simple starch and vegetable to make them feel like a complete meal. Here are a few easy ways to serve them:
- Crispy sides: French fries, sweet potato fries, or Air Fryer Seasoned Fries all work well with the yogurt sauce.
- Potato-based sides: Try Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes for a quick option, or Smashed Potatoes for a slightly heartier option.
- Fresh salads: A simple green salad or Italian Tomato Salad keeps the meal light and balanced.
- Vegetables: Roasted or air-fried broccoli, asparagus, or zucchini are all easy choices that pair well with salmon.
Storage & Reheating
Fridge: Store the salmon burgers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Freezer: If you want to freeze them, individually wrap cooked or uncooked burgers and place them in a freezer-safe storage container for up to 3 months. Let them thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating or cooking.
Reheating: To reheat, microwave for 1 minute or sear them in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat for a few minutes.
