About the Blog

Welcome to Real Food with Sarah

Real Food with Sarah helps busy home cooks make cozy, flavor-forward chicken dinners, hearty pastas, and reliable weeknight meals worth putting on repeat, without spending all night in the kitchen.

You'll find creamy pastas, chicken recipes for any night of the week, hearty soups and stews, and beef and turkey dinners built around ingredients you can find at any grocery store. The kind of food that's cozy and full of flavor, and actually gets dinner on the table without a lot of fuss.

From My Kitchen to Yours

Every recipe here is something I've cooked and taste-tested in my own kitchen. I know what it's like to be short on time but still want something that tastes homemade, and that's exactly what I'm trying to deliver. Clear, step-by-step instructions so you know what to expect before you start. Ingredients you can find at any grocery store. And enough flexibility to swap the protein or use what's already in your fridge. Read more about Sarah here.

Who This Blog Is For

If you're a home cook who wants dinner to be cozy and flavorful without consuming your evening, you're in the right place. These are the recipes I reach for on a Tuesday when I'm tired, on a Sunday when I want something that feels a little more special, and anytime I need something reliable that I know will work.

If you love smoking and BBQ, I also share smoker recipes over on Smoke on the Hill.
