💭Recipe FAQs
If your wings are full of moisture, they will have a hard time crisping up in the air fryer. I recommend thoroughly drying them out with a paper towel.
Yes! You can follow the recipe the same exact way. Just add 3-4 minutes to the cooking time and the wings should be just as good!
Drumsticks take longer to bake so you would need to ensure they are cooked through before enjoying them. If you prefer drumsticks, check out my Buffalo Chicken Drumsticks.
Leftover wings can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer at 350 degrees F for about 5 minutes.
👩🏻🍳Chef Tips
- Cut the wings. If you can find precut wings, skip this. However, you can't find them in all stores. Use a good pair of kitchen shears or a sharp knife and cut them right at the joint. Find more tips on cutting chicken wings here.
- Remove extra moisture. Before you season the chicken, pat the wings down with a paper towel. If the wings are too moist, they can become soggy.
- Cook the wings in the oven instead. If you don't have an air fryer, you can cook the wings in the oven instead. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and cook the wings on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through.
- These wings are coated in honey which will cause them to burn more easily. Make sure to keep an eye on them!
