- Cranberries. Fresh cranberries or frozen will work in this recipe. Don't use dried cranberries.
- Honey. This brie with cranberries recipe uses honey to sweeten the cranberry sauce. You can also use maple syrup.
- Balsamic vinegar. The balsamic vinegar will add some more sweetness, depth and acidity to the sauce.
- Brie. Use an 8-12 ounce wheel of brie. I recommend triple cream brie and Camembert

💭Recipe FAQs
Yes, any store-bought cranberry sauce will work. Follow the recipe as written aside from making the sauce.
No. I don't recommend prepping this dish ahead of time. You can make the cranberry sauce a day or two before but bake the brie right before serving. It will only take a few seconds to pop the brie in the oven!
No, if you cut the rind off of the cheese, it will melt all over the baking dish. The rind keeps the melty cheese in place. The rind is edible or you can cut around it when serving.
👩🏻🍳Chef Tips
- Serve this immediately after it comes out of the oven to ensure you enjoy the melted brie. The cheese can begin to harden after 15 minutes.
- Use a ripe brie with a soft velvety texture. Cheeses that are too hard or runny will not bake well.
- Don't overbake the cheese. You want gooey brie but you don't want it to be runny.
🥗Serving
I love serving the baked brie with crackers or toasted baguette slices. Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig and sprinkle with some flakey sea salt. If you want to add more sweetness, drizzle more honey or maple syrup on top.

🥣Storage & Reheating
- I doubt there will be any leftovers, but if there are you can store the brie covered in the fridge for 1-2 days.
- Reheat it in the oven for 5-10 minutes at 375 degrees F. You can also reheat this appetizer in the middle of serving if it gets cold before everyone has tried it.
