Air Fryer Sausage and Peppers is the perfect recipe for parties and game day festivities! Done in just 30 minutes, they can be served with hoagie buns, over pasta or as an appetizer.
For serving: rolls, mustard, marinara sauce and/or mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Begin by slicing the bell peppers and the sweet onion. Add them to a large bowl and season with salt, black pepper and olive oil. Toss to coat with your hands or tongs.
1 red bell pepper, 1 green bell pepper, 1 sweet onion, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon olive oil
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
Once preheated, add the vegetables to the air fryer basket and top them with the sausages.
1 pound sweet or spicy Italian sausage
Cook for 10 minutes, flip the sausages and cook for another 10 minutes.
Remove from the air fryer and serve on rolls with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

Notes
If you use pre-cooked sausages, reduce cook time by 10 minutes. I do recommend cooking the veggie for the full 20 minutes.
Air fryer model temperatures vary, so check on the sausages around 15 minutes.
