A bolder twist on the classic espresso martini. Reposado tequila adds earthy depth that vodka can't match. Three ingredients, one shaker, and a hard 20-second shake is all it takes.
In a cocktail shaker, add ice to the top and pour in 3 ounces of tequila.
Pour 3 ounces of freshly brewed espresso into the shaker.
Pour in the Kahlua. Cap the shaker and shake long and vigorously for 20 seconds.
Use a cocktail strainer to strain the espresso martini into 2 chilled martini glasses.
Garnish each martini with 3 espresso beans, serve and enjoy!

Notes
Use fresh espresso. The fresher the shot, the better the foam. Cold brew concentrate works as a backup.
Shake hard for a full 20 seconds. Use long, full strokes — stretch your arm fully above your head and back down. The bigger the shake, the better the foam.
Chill your glass beforehand. A cold martini or coupe glass keeps the drink colder and the foam intact longer.
Serve immediately. The froth goes away quicky so pour and serve right away.
