Marinate shrimp in olive oil, lime juice and spices. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until cooked through. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp. Once they start curling into a "c" shape, they are done.
Meanwhile, heat tortillas (if desired) over an open flame for approximately 30 seconds per side or on a lightly oiled non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for 30 seconds per side.
Assemble tacos by adding lettuce, 3-4 shrimp, avocado and salsa to each tortilla.
Garnish with cilantro and lime wedges and enjoy!
